“When shame says we don’t belong at the table, mercy extends an invitation anyway. Come to the table.” – Sandy Savoia
Hi Friends! I am Sandy Savoia, originally from the Jersey shore and a resident in Dingmans since 1997. I was raised Catholic and although I believed in Jesus as God’s son, I did not live my life, nor understand my value, as God’s daughter. This truth was revealed to me during one of my life’s most difficult trials – divorce. I had been married twenty years and blessed with three amazing sons when my life came crashing down taking me with it to my knees. That is where I experienced God’s amazing grace, love and mercy.
Since then, I have had a strong desire to help others in need and are hurting so I poured myself into many different ministries; an outreach introducing teens to Christ, a homeless ministry, mentoring teen moms, and finally Divorce Care. It was there that I found my passion: partnering with those that are broken by divorce; understanding the pain, isolation and loneliness; and helping them find hope again.
God has prepared me to walk alongside women who have also experienced divorce and, through one voice, to help them find healing and hope that our Lord so freely gives. My passion is for them to know they are loved beyond what they can imagine, to find value in being a pure, mature single woman and live life in freedom as His daughter. Let us come together, giving glory to Him, as one body, one love, one voice.
